In honor of social distancing, Amanda and I did not go to the gym today. We both worked out separately at home.
I did a kettlebell pyramid workout with my 12 lbs kettlebell.
- Goblet squats
- Pushups
- One handed swings (each side)
- Modified burpees (I didn’t jump)
- Sit and press
I did a set of 7 reps, and then a set of 6, and continued that way down to a final set with me doing each exercise once. I didn’t use the weights for the pushups and burpees. My 12 lbs kettlebell was totally enough weight, once I can do this countdown starting from 10, I’ll look into getting a heavier kettlbell.
I got so sweaty and cursed and hated every moment of it. It is so much easier to work out with a friend.
