Today we went with heavy deadlifts followed by some light arms.
Dead lift warm up sets: Amanda and Jenn both
10x 95 lbs
10x 145 lbs
Dead lift / drops: lift from floor, held 4 seconds
Amanda - 1x 225 lbs, 2x 275 lbs (NEW PR!!)
Jenn - 3x 185 lbs (NEW PR!!!)
Overhead press, standing:
Amanda - 10x 45 lbs, 10x 65 lbs, 10x 65 lbs
Jenn - 10x 45 lbs, 6x 65 lbs, 10x 45 lbs
Lat Pull downs: 3 sets
10x 90 lbs
Seated Row: 3 sets
10x 70 lbs
Lots of stretching followed by shakes to celebrate our deadlift PRs.
Today’s lifting-high discussion included crafting and how Amanda was inspired by thoughts of Iron Man while AC/DCs ‘Back in Black’ played in the gym during her deadlift PR.
