Today was Amanda’s training day with Trainer Jamie!
Started with a walk on the treadmill and stretching to warm up.
Deadlift sets:
10x 95 lbs
8x 135 lbs
8x 135 lbs
Goblet squats with kettlebell (no idea what weight):
3 sets of 10 reps
Russian twists on a box with a kettlebell (no idea what weight):
3 sets of 10 reps
Deadlift and drop, 15 sec rest between reps:
4 reps at 225 lbs!! (New PR for Amanda!)
Lat pull downs:
15x 90 lbs
10x 140 lbs
8x 140 lbs
Lots of stretching and a good foam rolling to cool down!
One of my favorite Gym Bros, A, has been doing farmer’s carries with a hex bar and 4 sets of plates (410 lbs total). Last week I tried picking it up and failed completely. This week I remembered my lifting straps and I got one side off the floor and had movement in the other side. I’m going to keep trying to pick that thing up every week until I get it off the floor!
