April 24th

Today I took a walk outside. I was going stir crazy, so I just walked. Outside.
I was out for almost an hour in the sunshine. I only made it a mile and half-ish, but I stopped to do some yoga stretches in the park a couple times.
I have this tendency to start my walk nice and leisurely-paced, then gradually speed up until I’m almost at a jog without realizing it, then I get slightly winded and sweaty and my giant hamstrings get all tight becuase I’m going faster than I meant to without warming up. Not as fun as the nice leisurely stroll I meant it to be.
So I stopped in the beautiful and almost completely empty soccer field to do some foreward folding, warrior poses, triangles, etc. A set of stretches focusing on loosening up my hamstrings so when I inevitably end up at an almost-job wihtout realizing it again I’d be looser. It worked, mostly.
But mostly it just felt good.
