Work is exhausting. I have not been working out.
On the bright side, I have been taking a 15-20 minute walk at lunch time almost every day. I have a mandatory 1 hour lunch and only need about 30 minutes to eat, so I walk before I eat. It’s warm. And walking it boring. But I have podcasts and 15 minutes is easy enough.

It was, in fact, not a new trend. I missed a few days.
But today started a new week and I did a 20 Minute Jam.
I start a new job tomorrow, so maybe with some routine in my life I’ll be better able to maintain an exercise routine while they gym is closed. I miss my workouts with Jenn.

Another 20 Minute Jam.
That’s 3 every-other-days in a row. Could this be a new trend?

Another 20 minute Turbo Jam.
I’m getting kind of good at this. I wish I had a 30 minute workout, but the next one is a 40 minute jam. 40 minutes seems a bit too long for me yet.

And another 20 minute Turbo Jam.
Did some squats and high knees randomly throughout the last week. I miss the gym.

Today I took a walk outside. I was going stir crazy, so I just walked. Outside.
I was out for almost an hour in the sunshine. I only made it a mile and half-ish, but I stopped to do some yoga stretches in the park a couple times.
I have this tendency to start my walk nice and leisurely-paced, then gradually speed up until I’m almost at a jog without realizing it, then I get slightly winded and sweaty and my giant hamstrings get all tight becuase I’m going faster than I meant to without warming up.

20 Minute Jam today. I really like turbo jam. Something about the movements and the music.
I even kept up fairly well today. I do the low impact version (no jumping, lower kicks, etc), but it’s still a challenging workout. It feels good.
I still miss the gym.
